get you feet wet part 2

“Corrected Transcript:
Okay, well, it’s actually been more like 20 or 25 minutes because I went off and did another video recording, showing how to register a domain name and change the DNS. So, in that period of time, you’ll notice that the document we wrote moved from “In Work” in Skyscraper into the next folder over, which is “Blog Scheduler.” This is a finished skyscraper. We moved it manually by drag and drop, and then the content factory wrote the article. This workflow icon right here moves it automatically into the blog scheduler. Now, the blog scheduler, guess what? It schedules things going to the blog well before we actually post it, which I want to show you, but let’s go take a look at it.

So we can just click that, and we’re going to open up the document editor. It’s going to show the featured image and the content of the article itself. There are some properties associated with it that tell us some things that control what happens downstream, most particularly the WordPress categories. This is going to be posted to the “Members” category on our blog. Now, the thing about WordPress is it will not auto-create categories. You have to actually manually create those categories. If you don’t, it’s just going to end up as “Uncategorized.” So it’s not the end of the world, obviously, you can fix that, but I don’t want to go into it right now.

What I’m going to do is copy it now. There are a couple of different ways to do that, but the best way is we’re going to force the scheduler to run right now. If we go look at this scheduler by clicking that icon, we’re going to see that it’s set for noon GMT minus five, which right now is GMT minus four, but whatever, who cares? It’s going to move it to the target folder, which is the blog venue. I can skip the line, if you will, by just hitting “Run Now.” And so, “Are you sure you want to start workflows for all documents in the folder?” The answer is yes, I do.

Okay, and then I’m going to get out of here, and you’ll notice, wait, where did it go? It went to the blog. Anything that drops into this venue folder automatically gets sent to whatever that venue is. That could be your WordPress blog, it could be Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

So, it says “Resolved,” which means it posted it to my blog. Let’s go check. We go back over here to “Credentials” and we look into the blog, then we go into the admin area. As soon as it loads up, we go into “Posts,” and boom, there it is.

So what did we do here? We defined some titles, established our avatar, came up with the topics, all this with AI-defined titles. Then we took those titles and moved them into ResultFlow, and we took one of those titles and dropped it into the content factory that came out with, how many words was that one, by the way? Let’s go look. How long is that article? We’re going to look in here because it’ll tell us right here. I want to go look in the blog and edit right there; it’s 2,640 words along with an image as well.

So, it took about 15 to 25 minutes because I wasn’t watching, and then it automatically went on the scheduler. Admittedly, we booted the scheduler, right? But normally, we would just have to wait for it, and by noon tomorrow, since it’s already past noon, it would’ve posted it automatically. So we went from nothing but a title, actually nothing but an avatar, to content posted on the blog, almost 100% hands-free. That’s the promise of ResultFlow. That is an end-to-end demonstration of what you can expect to have as an experience using ResultFlow.

Now, obviously, that was just one article, it was on beetles, which you’re probably not going to do. And so now that you’ve had a taste of it, we have to go do it for real. The first thing we’re going to do is probably need to get rid of that. I mean, we don’t need this here, right? So let’s go ahead and trash it. Because we can save this blog. This blog is fine; it doesn’t say “Beatles” anywhere.

So we’re going to use this in the next step. From here, now we’re going to work on your plan. We’re going to work on your site, we’re going to do a blog, we’re going to do social sites, we’re going to do a real content plan, not just the little one I showed you. And then we’re going to do some technical stuff to make sure you have tracking turned on and other little details along the way that I know you’ll have some fun with. So with that, now that your feet are wet, let’s dive into the deep end and get your site done.”
